Take control of your home’s energy with Tesla Solar and Powerwall. Generate clean electricity, store backup power, and keep your home running day and night while reducing dependence on the grid.
The Tesla Powerwall 3 is an advanced home battery system designed to store energy from solar panels or the utility grid for use when needed most. It can provide backup power during outages, help reduce reliance on the utility company, and optimize home energy usage throughout the day. Powerwall 3 also features an integrated solar inverter and allows homeowners to monitor and control their system directly from the Tesla app.
The Tesla Powerwall 3 is designed with durability in mind and features a weather-resistant enclosure rated for outdoor installation. Its water-resistant design helps protect the system during heavy rain and certain flood conditions, providing added reliability and peace of mind for homeowners in storm-prone areas.
Say goodbye to noisy gas generators with the Tesla Powerwall 3. This advanced home battery system provides quiet, automatic backup power during outages while storing energy from solar panels or the grid. Unlike traditional generators, Powerwall requires no fuel, produces no exhaust fumes, and seamlessly powers your home when the grid goes down.
Please reach us at Sales@aguilaelectrical.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
How much your Powerwall system can back up and for how long depends on the number of Powerwalls, how much electricity is produced by your solar system and your usage. The more Powerwalls and electricity produced, the longer your backup duration will be. The more energy you use, the faster your Powerwalls will be depleted. Each Powerwall, when fully charged, holds 13.5 kWh (kilowatt hours) of energy. If your home uses 500 Wph (watts of energy per hour), 13.5 kWh lasts 27 hours. If your home uses 2,000 Wph, 13.5 kWh lasts 6 hours and 45 minutes.
Yes. In most cases, a permit is required to install the Tesla Powerwall 3.
Because the system connects to your home’s electrical panel and the utility grid, local building departments require an electrical permit along with a final inspection before the system can be activated. Many installations also require utility approval for interconnection.
Typically, your installer will handle pulling the permit and coordinating inspections as part of the installation process.
Once the project is approved and scheduled, parts for the Tesla Powerwall 3 are typically ordered right away.
In most cases:
• Orders are placed within 24 to 72 hours after approval and deposit submission
• Equipment usually arrives within 3 to 10 business days, depending on availability and location
• Installation is scheduled once all materials are confirmed on site
Permitting can also affect the timeline. Depending on the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) and local requirements, permit review and approval times may vary, which can delay installation dates even if equipment is already available.
Once permits are approved and materials are in hand, installations are typically scheduled as soon as the crew has availability.
Yes, we do offer financing options for Tesla Powerwall installations.
Through our financing partners, qualified customers can spread the cost of their Tesla Powerwall system into affordable monthly payments instead of paying everything upfront. Approval is typically quick, and options may vary based on credit and project size.
